‘I am a Maine portrait, wedding and studio photographer who loves to create art behind the lens. After many years of working in corporate environments, I finally took the risk and ventured out on my own to pursue my passion and dreams of owning my own business and capturing precious moments that last a lifetime! Established in 2007 and situated in Southern Maine, I work ‘on-location’ and travel throughout New England and beyond. Because we are seasonal in Maine, my studio work is usually during the colder months. Once the weather warms up, most of my work is outside using natural light, combined with all the beauty Maine has to offer. LIVING A BEAUTIFUL LIFE
If I had to choose three words that described me, they would be:
Energetic ~ My energy seems to be boundless and I find myself caught up in all the wonderful moments during any event or wedding. I am always surprised how fast an event ends and then it is time to stop working!
Fun ~ I would most definitely say I am fun (of course, my 13 year old would beg to differ)! I can often be found in the middle of the dance floor encouraging guests to give me their best moves, and wandering through the seating arrangements to warm up the guests that don’t love to shake their groove thing.
Experienced ~ I find that being (middle aged) and having a family of my own, coupled with 12 years of photographing weddings, daycares, families and events, I am most definitely experienced! I pride myself on understanding the flow of a celebration or portrait session and being able to adjust to the many changes that happen and any deviations from my client’s “perfectly planned” day.
One of the most wonderful compliments I receive, is that my clients tell me, they felt like I was a part of their family. When I deliver their portraits and their reply to me includes multiple exclamantions and words of gratitude that warm my heart, I know that I have done my job well and that they will enjoy reliving the moments of their event or portrait session for many years to come. What an amazing feeling! I truly love what I do! Thank you for looking at my work and considering me to be your photographer of choice!
